what did everyone do?
I went to a party that my american / german friend was throwing, jarod, at his apartment on the roof and we played beer pong and drank jello shots. i was really wasted and there werent enough americans there for me to playbeer pong with, but there ws this german chick who is swore was a prostitute. we watched som fireworks in the distance. i was supposed to be home around 11 or 12 and i ended up being back at 7 am.. we almost missed our train to berlin but luckily we caught it.
my mom was pretety mad because apparently at 2 i told her i was on my way home, but ofcourse i dont remember that.
on july 5 at the brandenburger tor in berlin, there was a huge celebration for american independence. they had bungee jumping and a bull riding contest. i didnt participate it any of it because of my immense hangover. but i had a great time nonetheless.

Once upon a time, the world was a wild, crazy, beautiful place because of a group of people that called themselves the nancys and mancys. Now these aren't your average nancys, nor are they your average mancys. They were the OG's of the century, you know, hipsters not scenesters. In the world, these nancys and mancys ruled the universe, with adventurous battles and journeys. In 8 years past the millennium, they battled a wicked witch that lived next door to the nancy, and although the witch thinks she won believing they left, both the nancys and mancys know the truth: that the nancys were moving on long before she wanted them to, becase there are bigger and better things that the hell that the witch turned ashby palace into. In their time together, the nancys and mancys have also been sung to by jokes at trader joes, worked the system at the lair of the bear, utilized power outages to the best of their capabilities, and the list goes on for pages I don't dare write (for legal purposes). Every Thursday evening and some other days of the week if they were lucky, the stars and planets would align just right providing the atmosphere for the nancys and mancys to join and appreciate the likeness of office romances and dramas (and don't forget champagne) while watching people survive on an island. Alas, since the nancys have left their palace, there is no current ground for which everyone to meet, and every nancy and mancy is on their own journey, braving a summer (of destruction) after which a reunion will occur and the world will form back into that crazy wild beautiful place that we all love.

I..... watched my extended family suffer through the fourth of july run through ladera that was 2.5 miles, watched my two little cousins ride their bikes in the parade, sunned for a bit with abbie and ran into old friends from summers past, did a lovely barbeque at the house with everyone, and then met up with a few friends to watch fireworks within a vineyard.
